SchoolData4all WorkKeys®

SchoolData4all’s WorkKeys® results for Illinois, sponsored by The Illinois Business Roundtable, is available to facilitate communication and increase awareness among students, educators, employers, and policymakers in local communities of Illinois regarding the gap between the levels of job skills needed in today’s workplace and the existing job skills students currently have.

The WorkKeys® data provided by this section is available to those groups to assess and compare the current levels of school and statewide performance to that of a required or desired level of performance. In addition, the information may be used by those groups in determining what actions, if necessary, to implement in adapting to the constantly changing demands of the workplace and in improving the supply of skilled workers.

Numerous employers across the country recognize the WorkKeys® assessments as a basis for determining the applied knowledge and skills of their applicant pool. What generally is unknown and surprising to most employers is that Illinois is one of the few states that administer the WorkKeys® assessments to every Grade 11 student.
